The Purpose
We love brands.
We love crafting new brands.
We love enhancing existing brands to be better.
We love helping people form a lifelong bond with your brand.
Strong brands inspire an emotional connection in their audience. It’s not a logo. A logo by itself is not the driving force of a brand, but just a part of it. A signature.
Strong brands begin with a big idea.
We distill that big idea into an enduring brand that grows and thrives
Your brand is a promise to your audience. It inspires trust. Brand is the blood that runs through every vein of your organization. The face you show and the words you speak.
We strive to define, clarify and express your brand either by consulting or through hands-on development.

The Process
Don’t worry it’s not really voodoo, it‘s simply a process:

Define
To find a solution you must first understand the problem. Every company or organization is different and each has unique goals and communication problems to solve. There is no one-size-fits-all solution.
Research
What are your competitors doing? What should you be doing? You can’t separate yourself from the pack without knowing these things.
Develop
Ideas. Brainstorming. Sketching. Etc. All part of the idea generation process. The blank whiteboard, empty sketchbook or blinking cursor. This is what scares people. The unknown. How to begin. We like to collaborate and develop a partnership with our clients. We can work together to craft the most creative and unique solution for you.
Evaluate
Even the seemingly best ideas can flop. It’s the nature of things. That’s why we evaluate our solutions for possible holes and downfalls before fully committing. It takes time, but it saves us all time, money and frustration in the end.
Deploy
3, 2, 1, launch.
The Team

Paul Sirmon
Founder and Creative Director
It all started way back in ’76. Mom + dad + a little romance = Paul in August of ’77. What? Too far back? Ok.
Let’s fast forward a bit then. Paul was always a drawer. His first paying design work was redrawing metal band logos on denim jackets for schoolmates—Def Lep, Metallica, etc. He was an artist, but also loved math. This combination of skills lead him to pursue architecture.
Shortly into his college career he became complacent with the drudgery of architecture classes; becoming a famous rock star wasn’t looking so good either. So he set off backpacking across the moons of Saturn to find himself. That was in ’96. About halfway across Titan he determined that typography and the letterform was really what appealed to him.
Blame it on the methane if you like, but back to college he went. This time to study design. College was a trying time for him simply because keeping up with classes and homework while discussing at length the fundamentals of quantum physics and space travel with Nasa’s top men can be tiring for a young fella.
While at college Paul was given a vision by the Ultimate Creator. This vision was to elevate the public perception of God and His people via art and design—primarily through the churches of the world. The Church and Christians are here to represent God and, quite frankly, all Christian design back then was horrible. Paul took it as his mission to correct this and accurately represent God as the Ultimate Creator through this medium.
For the past 8 years Paul was fortunate enough to work for Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. He left his post of Senior Creative Director at Gateway to focus full time on Buzzbomb to help lots of churches, non-profits and small businesses perpetuating the vision.
Paul’s work has been recognized by the Addys, Print magazine and Web Designer magazine. However all he’s really interested in is getting his clients recognized by their audience.
James Reid
Partner and Development Director
Born in ‘73 but definitely a child of the 80’s, James witnessed the birth of MTV, longed to be in a John Hughes movie, especially Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and wore brightly colored Polo’s with popped collars. Bring back some nostalgic memories for you?
James may have had the appearance of a yuppie on the outside, but he developed a work ethic by spending many summers punching cattle and working the land with his family. He became an expert in daydreaming but when a football scholarship to play for his beloved OU Sooners didn’t materialize, he knew he needed a new plan.
College was a winding journey through a variety of majors. First up was pre-med but he quickly learned that he wasn’t a lab geek. Pre-law was only a brief experiment to satisfy his family. During a summer again toiling in the red Oklahoma clay, God called him to work with young people so he poured his energy and time into serving the church.
Several years later, disillusioned by church politics that kept him from making a bigger impact., James crash landed in the consumer electronics world. Soon, James found himself trying to decipher corporate America with clients based in sunny Hollywood and snowy Minneapolis. He discovered there was a wrong and right way to communicate with clients and began putting the marketing tools that continue to serve him well today into his Booq backpack.
Over the past 5 years, a vision from God came into much clearer focus and led to understanding why the path had such varied and rich experiences. The vision was to serve the clients with the gifts, experience and skills James had collected since high school. The goal is to provide services that will allow these organizations and companies to better connect with their audience and to make a bigger impact around the world.
James spent the last few years working for a direct response marketing and donor development company specializing in growth initiatives for Christian, media-driven organizations. After learning that he and Paul shared a vision to serve the same types of clients, James gladly accepted an invitation to join Buzzbomb as a partner to fight the good fight for you.
Through the years James has always been fascinated with learning as much as he could about anything that piqued his interest and finds inspiration in great design, Uncrate, his amazing wife, his dogs, his offspring and our creator, God.
